Who we are looking forThe Network team is looking to add a Vice President in the Global Cloud Network team
Your goal is to be one of the leaders in the global cloud networking team focusing primarily on leading the cloud networking, cloud security, and cloud infrastructure design standards and implementation
This is a tremendous opportunity to join a global organization and participate in the development of our multi-cloud hybrid architecture standards
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of multiple cloud provider’s virtual networking constructs, connectivity options to on premise data centers, core routing expertise and data center fabric designs.What you will be responsible forDevelopment and deployment of cloud network design standards.Expertise in deploying WAN and data center connectivity and routing principles.Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the network infrastructure based on the defined standards.Ability to clearly articulate network design principles and requirements to cross-functional teams within State Street as well as cloud service provider teams.Act as a point of escalation for critical issues involving cloud performance and connectivity.Participate and approve networking updates via our CI/CD PipelinesDrive the implementation of global hybrid connectivity to Cloud Providers via dedicated circuits (ExpressRoute, FastConnect, DirectConnect)Act as the subject matter expert in the design and implementation of cloud routing platforms such as AWS CloudWan and Azure vWANExperience with deploying Cisco VxLAN/EVPN /BGP environments.Ensure compliance with the standards and requirements relative to cyber security.Leverage network tools to automate, manage, and troubleshoot the network.Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams.Education & QualificationsBachelors Degree10+ years’ experience in network industryExperience with AWS and Azure network concepts.Basic knowledge of python and terraform scriptingExperience with large scale application migrations to cloudKnowledge of cloud-based extranet and internet topologies, design, and implementationsAbility to create and understand policies for NSX-T in VMWare Cloud (VMC)Proven experience in developing design standards and configuration standards documentationProven effectiveness in the areas of Vendor management, cost analysis, and RFP frameworks.Salary Range: $120,000 - $202,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified
