Job Description
Provide assessments of available cloud computing resources and their viability / appropriateness for selection to support the data and applications delivered and maintained by the program. Assessments will include but are not limited to technical and financial optimization. Provide instructional guidance and direct support to the team in managing one-to-many optimized cloud environments, and ensuring they leverage the correct resources for optimal performance and cost. Provide seamless integration with client's hybrid environments and support transition to cloud technologies as defined by the client. Provide evaluations of commercial products of interest by the government as requested.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Cloud team managing resources that are deployed in the AWS cloud environment. Assist technical team of cloud engineers through environment deployment and maintenance operations.
- Responsibilities include but not limited to design, deployment and maintenance of AWS Government environment and work with security team to ensure all client security requirements have been met.
Must have:
- 2 years of technical experience working with databases, compute, storage and networks on one or more of the following platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Vmware or Oracle Cloud Platform
- Experience with deploying and maintaining software and databases on cloud platforms (AWS preferred, MS Azure and others valuable)
Nice to have:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Experience deploying ServiceNow
- Experience with SecDevOps / DevOps tools and their use in cloud architecture.
- Experience with the Sponsor's accreditation and authorization (A&A) policies, procedures and tools
- Experience with COTS and GOTS data science / analysis tools and their configuration in a cloud architecture
- Experience as a software developer, database engineer, or other technical areas relevant to the delivery of complete software systems
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI required

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
