About the role:
As an IT Security Analyst with FIS, your skills will be put to the test on the front lines of cyber-crime. Information security is at the heart of fintech and you’ll help protect and secure highly-sensitive financial data for customers around the world. You will be part of a fast moving security environment and will be part of Data Protection team responsible to protect internal and external customer data. This position interfaces with internal application teams and external partners to develop and protect sensitive data.
About the team:
The role of Cyber Security Analyst with Applied Cryptography team of Data Protection group involves closely working with end users to review their application architecture for sensitive data protection, providing tools and support needed to secure the data form attack surface. In this fast-paced environment, you will be working with internal and external application developers across different business units. Protecting sensitive data wherever it exists is the mission for this team. You will be involved in state-of-the-art tools to protect data at rest and in transit, on-prem and cloud. What you will be doing:
- Build and manage an application to protect sensitive data on-prem and cloud to protect sensitive data.
- Responsible to scan for sensitive data and analyze the reports to identify the false positives.
- Responsible for monitoring sensitive data tool's.
- Administer Transparent and Application Level Encryption appliances
- Responsible for assisting server administrators in installing and uninstalling encryption agents on Windows, Linux and AIX platforms.
- Responsible for registering the CTE and LDT agents, creating policies, keys and guard points etc.
- Troubleshoots encryption related incidents
- Responsible for monitoring and responding to alerts related to encryption appliances
- Responds to information security-related questions and inquiries using established information security tools and procedures.
- Interfaces with user community to understand security needs and implements procedures to accommodate them. Ensures that user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security.
- Maintains security systems and administers security policies to control access to systems
- Ensures that all servers are hardened for compliance and/or industry standards
- Ensures that company meets all security standards for internal or external audits
- Represents configuration changes and major upgrades in change control
- Coordinates with patching teams and scanning to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Actively participates in the daily standup meetings with team members to discuss about ongoing tasks
- Works with Vendors in reporting and troubleshooting technical issues
- Ensures that all the documentation is up to date
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you will need:
- Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer and deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, components, and APIs.
- Experience in scanning tools and working with Privacy Data Subject Requests (DSR) processing
- At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, container) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- At least 3-4 years of experience on AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service experience.
- Experience in Linux or Windows server administration.
- At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience in using relational database systems such as Oracle and MySQL and no relational DBs such as mongo db, cassandra etc.
- Knowledge of networking concepts
- Knowledge of security technologies (encryption, data protection, design, privilege access, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of Information security policies, controls and processes.
- Experience with Transparent Data Encryption mainly Vormetric/CipherTrust
- Experience in administering Vormetric DSMs and CipherTrust manager appliances.
- Knowledge and understanding of Voltage securedata and application level encryption
- Experience in configuring registering the VTE and LDT agents, policies, keys and guard points etc.
- Experience in troubleshooting CipherTrust/Vormetric encryption related issues.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory GDPR and PCI DSS.
- Proficiency in MS Office software applications specially Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio.
- Ability to work independently without supervision and communicate clearly -both written and verbally.
