This role has been designated as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

As a reliability engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and up-time of applications. You will work closely with DevOps professionals to revive the pipelines and services that fail in production.

Responsibilities :

• Monitor the applications in clusters to ensure they working
• Triage failures in a timely manner and work with DevOps engineers to resolve them
• Build CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy releases into production environment
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and reduce cost
• Provide ongoing support for platform-related issues to other team members
• Assist with development activities as needed from time to time
• Integrate infrastructure and application monitoring tools
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve data pipeline issues
• Drive Customer issues to resolution
• Flexible in timings to work with global teams

Education and Experience Required

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• Bachelor's with 4 years experience of Master's with 2 years experience
• 1+ years of relevant industry experience

Knowledge and Skills

• Programming in at least one of Python or Java
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark or Kafka
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Airflow
• Experience in one or more deployment tools such as Spinnaker or ArgoCD
• Experience working in cloud computing environments such as AWS

Additional Desirable Skills

• Experience with large-scale big data pipelines and distributed computing
• Good knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
• Exposure to visualization tools such as Grafana or Datadog

Annual Salary: $113,000.00 - $259,500.00
