Cloud Technical Solutions Architect (PBM/Pharmacy/Pharma or Claims Insurance a must)
Location : Morris County, NJ
Salary : 170-175k + 10% bonus


Must have the following skills to be considered for this position:

• Strong business knowledge of specialty pharmacy, pharma, or claims insurance background.
• Strong communication skills, focusing on building relationships with clients, negotiating, etc.
• Strong conceptual Cloud background in either AWS, Azure or GCP
• Ability to blueprint new solutions. – Note that this is not a technical coding role
• It would be Ideal to come out of a technical engineering-type role from the past.

Overview:

• We are seeking an Cloud Solutions Architect to join our architecture team. This person will be a business and technology leader with a proven track record of success in helping craft end-to-end solutions using Cloud solutions.
• Products and services comprise diverse Healthcare and Pharmaceutical tech offerings. My client works with manufacturers, healthcare professionals, insurance providers, and patients to break down barriers to treatment, leveraging a combination of personal interaction and software-enabled solutions.
• In this role, you will use your knowledge and experience to guide product and technical leaders toward solutions that leverage the best available capabilities and most resilient integration patterns. Equally, this role will be a business leader within technology that helps to drive new business in a way that supports and feeds into our technology strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with product and technology leaders early in the process to understand business needs and shape strategic solutions for large, critical initiatives for the company.
• Understand our historical and current solutions and products and our product and technology roadmap to suggest solutions that maximize efficiency, cost, and quality for our clients and the company.
• Provide high-level technical solutions leveraging our product management team and technical subject matter experts.
• Own and deliver high-level estimates for technical solutions; drive pricing and project timelines and ensure consistent and accurate knowledge transfer to the teams implementing these solutions.
• Identify trends and opportunities within our pipeline and work with sales, product, technology, and business to feed these insights into our strategy and business development approach.

Qualifications:

• Ability to form deep relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience partnering with technology, project management, product, security, and other similar teams
• Active listening and communication skills; excellent written/visual communication, including the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Abstract technical problem-solving
• Sufficient depth with web applications, PaaS, cloud, database, EDW, and similar technical systems
• Strong software estimation skills
• Ability to influence and drive consensus across a diverse set of stakeholders and decision-makers
• 10+ years relevant IT experience, 5+ as a Solutions Architect
