Cloud Technology On Boarding Solution Analyst
Location: Whitehouse Station, NJ. Hybrid work schedule-3 days in office/2 days WFH
Duration: 6 Months CTH
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with developers in gathering business requirements for migration needs.
• Work across multiple functional projects to understand goals and architecture, data usage and implications for migration.
• Assist in designing, planning, and managing the migration/onboarding process.
• Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document, and communicate the requirements.
• Prepare migration/onboarding plans including migration risk, milestones, quality, and business sign-off details.
Complete tasks to enable developers to onboard into the Azure infrastructure
• Manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the onboarding/migration plan.
• Develop best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities.
Qualifications:
• - BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience unix/linux programming using languages such as Python, Go, Java, or similar
• Azure development and migration experience
• Lifting and shifting on-prem applications to the cloud.
• Experience in azure cloud-based services, and Serverless Architecture.
• Experience in a Cloud Software Engineering role or related position.
• Experience with open-source technology, software development and system engineering.
• Jira experience, understanding of agile methodologies
• Soft skills are extremely important as you will spend a large amount of time communicating between Appdev and engineering teams
