Responsibilities:Summary/Responsibilities of this position:
As a Central Market Floral Designer, you’ll ensure your Store’s design sense throughout the department, design and execute merchandising
programs, and provide superior customer service to increase customer loyalty and sales revenue. .

What is the work?
Customer Service / Sales:
− Provides superior customer service, and a variety of fresh, quality products
− Designs / executes merchandising programs; ensures “design sense” in floral merchandising throughout department
− Designs floral arrangements for weddings, funerals / memorials, seasonal, and day-to-day sales
− Consults with brides on pricing; maintains regular communication through event execution
− Consults on pricing for other events; coordinates flower / related supply ordering
− Tracks seasonal record when appropriate
− Takes in-person and phone orders; answers customer product-related questions; assists with selections
− Uses suggestive selling techniques that meet customer needs and build department sales; merchandises product effectively
− Complies with Central Market/H-E-B food safety and sanitation standards, and department and Store SOPs
− Properly maintains / operates all equipment; cleans / sanitizes display cases and equipment
− Assists in technical areas as needed
What is your background?
− Minimum age 21(mandatory)
− High school diploma, or equivalent
− 1+ years of experience
− Completion of Safety training and Company Orientation (upon hire)

− Constantly* stand, reach at waist, walk, reach overhead, reach at shoulder, reach at knee, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat,
crouch, kneel, push / pull with arms
− Occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles, and toxic / caustic chemicals
− Demonstrate the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and push / pull heavy loads
