CMA Clinical Supervisor - Ascension

We Are Hiring:

• Schedule: FT Days
• Location: Nashville, TN

Are you a Certified Medical Assistant looking for growth or to step into leadership? This is a great opportunity to come lead one of our largest practices in Nashville! An ideal candidate would have some leadership experience in the medical field. Must have effective communication skills!  

What You Will Do:

Supervise assigned staff in performing activities or tasks of the assigned practice site(s).

• Assist with examinations and treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse. Perform select clinical duties.
• Interview patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.  Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
• Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High school diploma OR GED required.

Additional Preferences:

2+ years of leadership experience in a very busy practice

Salary Description:From $46,342.40 a year
