CMA/LPN- Gyn Onc- St Vincent- Casual (Tuesday and Thursday) - Prevea Health

This position will work Tuesday and Thursdays - 16 hrs per week

What you will do

Provide professional nursing or medical assistant care under supervision or scope of licensure for clinic patients.

· Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.

· Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts.

· Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts.

· Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.

· Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.

· Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards.

· Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.



Qualifications

· CPS/BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program or Prevea sponsored program. Upon Hire Required



Medical Assistant

· Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.

· Certified as a Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant in the state of WI through an approved accreditor.

Licensed Practical Nurse

· Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.

· Valid Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor.

Emergency Medical Technician

· Graduation from an accredited Emergency Medical Technician program.

· Licensed EMT or AEMT and maintain this credential throughout employment

If holds other licenses that supersede CMA/RMA license may practice to the highest level of licensure with the approval of Quality Resources.



Experience Qualifications

· Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Preferred
