About the Job
- Managing CMDB and identifying existing gaps and challenges
- Assist with documentation - Create new process docs and assist with review/updating existing process doc (examples below)
- Audit SNOW assets / CI records - contact groups to gather missing data in key fields - support group, PO #, order date, warranty end date, support contract ID, support end date, identify orphan CI's, dups – work with ops to clean up dup
- Update documentation for drive sanitization process - with and without DMR
- HARDWARE warranty renewal scope
- Create new/Update SNOW asset/CI for existing and new hardware purchases from Infrastructure teams submit case for Hardware delivery to dc
- Audit SNOW assets / CI records - contact groups to gather missing data in key fields - support group, PO #, order date, warranty end date, support contract ID, support end date
- Track T&M cost - get case info - Hardware issue, server name & serial # and quotes info from Ops teams, reconcile with list from vendor
- Work with various product owners to identify/track cost of their Hardware & Software licenses/contracts/support
- Track all HARDWARE, Server & SOFTWARE Decommissions
- Hardware Servers & Storage (AS400, Linux, Windows, Solaris, Alpha, IBM, AIX, Commvault, Dell, Data Domain, NetApp)
- Identify serial #'s in extended warranty/support contracts by vendor for removal to save cost
- Provide a consolidated list of all Hardware (server & storage, any Hardware vendor) decoms with device name, serial #, PO #, warranty end date for finance to remove from financial books
- Proficient in Excel
