Special Instructions for Applicants:3 years working in one or more of the following fields: project management, data analyst, higher education, information technology, or related field (Preferred) experience in developing and executing programs grant proposals and data reports. (Required) proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g SQL, Pythn, R, Tableau, spss, Stata, Power BI). (Preferred) experience n complex higher education environments, serving administrative functions of al large public university. (Preferred) experience working in a project-based environment using leading project management practices including schedule management, status reporting, and communciation of project risks and issues. (Preferred) able to establish and advance positive working relationships and strong rapport with team members, stakeholders, and industry partners. (Required) experience in creating, planning, and organizing events. (Required) 1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. (Required) 2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. (Required) 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. (Required) 4. Experience working with large datasets and complex data structures. (Preferred) 5. Knowledge of education research and evaluation methodologies is a plus. This is a one year contract position with potential for extension.
Department Summary:The Engineering Pipeline Program is designed to address the challenges faced by community college students in engineering, who often encounter barriers in credit transfer and progression due to the lack of standardized pathways. This new initiative is dedicated to improving the educational pathways for community college students transferring to California State Universities (CSUs) or the University of California (UCs) in engineering. Our goal is to ensure that community college students transferring to California State Universities or University of California campuses in engineering will have full participation in the California workforce – on an equal footing as their counterparts who enrolled as university freshmen. The Engineering Pipeline Program will work closely with the California Engineering Liaison Council (ELC) to foster deeper integration between community colleges, universities, and the engineering industry.Position Summary:In addition to the salary range listed below, we offer a wealth of benefits to make working at UCLA even more rewarding.
