Description of the Role
The Restorative Aide, CNA position at Cottonwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Laramie, Wyoming is responsible for assisting in the care and rehabilitation of residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist in carrying out restorative care programs under the supervision of licensed nurses and therapists.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed.
- Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate staff.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents.
Requirements
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of restorative care programs and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
