The Certified Nurse Assistant - CNA is responsible for providing direct, hands-on care to residents to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental and emotional well-being possible for each resident without declines in status unless the decline is documented as unavoidable.
Responsibilities:
- The CNA follows safety policies and practices in performing nursing care.
- The CNA reports changes in residents' condition immediately to the Charge Nurse.
- The CNA observes the resident's rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
- The CNA promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.
Requirements for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate
