What you can expect from this role
- Full Time 0.9 FTE (estimated time frame 0800-1630) 40 hours per week
- Week 1 - 5 X 8 hour shifts Monday through Friday - No Weekends (40 hours)
- Week 2 - 4 x 8 hour shifts Monday - Friday (rotating day off and no weekends) (32 hours)
- Float requirements would be the Medical Oncology room providers, Chemo Infusion, possibly learning to draw labs and do phlebotomy and occasionally floating to the other SLCI sites if needed
- Opportunity to cross train to other SLCI departments such as radiation oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant
- Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education
Qualifications
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice OR Nurse Apprentice letter
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
