REQUIREMENTS:

Must have successfully completed a certified nurse aide course approved by the Oklahoma State Dept. of Health.

Three 3 to six 6 months experience in nursing home or hospital preferable but not necessary.

Must be eighteen 18 years of age or older.

Must be physically and mentally capable of performing the duties required.

Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day.

Must be able to speak, read, and write English in an understandable manner.

Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress of the position.

Must be able to see and hear, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.

Must be able to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.

Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.

Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people with the facility.

Must be willing to work some weekends and some holidays.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
