Registry Personnel must bring a state or federal issued identification to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times. Agency staff must provide a copy of a negative COVID-19 test result with the sample being taken one week or less prior to the start date on all contract assignments or alternatively a proof of full vaccination. Results must be in hand in order to start the contract assignment. Agency employees may not work in the center until the negative result is received. Guaranteed Hours cannot be billed for a delayed start due to pending results. Once the contract is started, agency staff will also need to follow the normal testing protocol of that particular center. An attestation confirming this initial negative result is not acceptable to begin the contract assignment.

Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will assist licensed nursing staff in providing basic patient care, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients within a healthcare facility. You will work closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to support the overall well-being of patients.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
2. Assist patients with mobility by transferring them in and out of beds, chairs, or wheelchairs.
3. Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and blood pressure.
4. Assist in the implementation of care plans developed by licensed nurses.
5. Observe and report any changes in patients\' conditions to the nursing staff.
6. Respond to patient calls and requests for assistance promptly and courteously.
7. Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, including changing linens and tidying patient rooms.
8. Follow proper infection control procedures to prevent the spread of illnesses.
9. Assist with the transportation of patients within the facility as needed.
10. Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Successful completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
3. Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of employment.
4. CPR certification may be required.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
7. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients.
8. Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
