CNC Boring Mill Operator-Horizontal (2nd Shift) - Akron, OH - JOB 24-00719
Shift Hours – 4-day week – 10-hour shift – 2nd Shift – 11:30am - 10pm
Hour Rate: $25.00 - $33.00/HR Permanent Position with benefits
The CNC Boring Mill Operator with is responsible for the overall operation of a horizontal boring mill machine. This includes setting up the machine, loading parts, running the machine, and unloading parts. The operator must ensure that the machine is running properly and safely, and that the parts produced meet quality standards. The Horizontal Boring Mill Operator must have excellent mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Responsibilities:
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.

Responsibilities:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have CNC Horizontal Boring Mill operator experience. (5 years preferred)
- Programming knowledge is a plus
- Must have proven experience with set-up, calibration, and maintenance of the boring mill.
- Must be able to use Micrometers, Bore Gages, Calipers, etc.
- Experience/Knowledge of continuous quality improvement practices.
- Must have good troubleshooting skills.
- Must have strong communication skills (Written & Verbal).
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Must work well with others and in a team environment.
