Our Anaheim, CA CNC machine shop client needs an Engineering Manager to join their organization as a salaried direct employee
The target salary range is $150K - $160K. The position reports to the President
This is an 100% onsite position.Lead the Engineering Department of Planners and CNC Programmers to produce accurate and timelyprograms for the manufacturing of aircraft parts on 3-4-5 axis machines
Coordinate with the Director of Quality, Manager of Manufacturing and Manager of Production Control to insure the production of quality parts in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner.* Oversee development of programs for manufacturing aircraft parts.Posse a thorough understanding of blueprints, drawings & sketches and best shop practices in support of the aerospace industry including GD&T, military specs, and AS9100 standard.* Experience and knowledge of various specifications for secondary processing of aerospace hardware, (i.e., NDT, Nickel, Chrome, HVOF and cadmium plating, grind, shot peen, anodizing, prime and paint).* Familiarity with D.C.M.A., C.S.I
coverage and the requirements of F.A.R./D.F.A.R regulations.* Manage raw material and finished goods in ERP software in coordination with the Manager of Manufacturing .* Able to create, update and maintain existing part and tooling travelers in Pro Shop* Able to create routing / BOM (Bill of Material) for first time build products
process and planning.Complete contract flow from contract inception, quote assistance, planning assistance, resource allocation through shipment of product.* Ensures proper upkeep of relevant documents, including physical and electronic filing of documentation in accordance with AS9100 Standard and procedures.* Become a ProShop Champion (ERP system)Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:Ideally a Bachelor's degree, but a High School education with strong CNC machine shop experience will suffice Min 15 years of engineering experience (ideally within aerospace) that includes cnc programming, machining, fabrication, planning and program managementMin 5 years of experience as a manager within a CNC machine shop Min 3 years of experience in CNC programming, ideally with MasterCam, SolidWorks, and/OR CamWorksPreferred Skills / Qualifications:AS9100 and Lean experienceFAR/DFAR exposure Traditional aerospace metals experienceAleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers
