CNC Laser Operator at Accentuate Staffing

Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturer in the Durham area who is hiring a CNC Laser Operator to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Laser machine tools to produce precision parts and components.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on existing tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate production records
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of tools to prevent downtime and ensure longevity.
• Complete regularly quality checks on parts

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 2+ years setting up and operating CNC laser machines
• Candidates must also have strong equipment troubleshooting experience
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Candidates must be able to use hand and power tools, drills, taps, grinders, etc.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy tools and equipment (up to 80lbs).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required. Associates degree in machining, or completed apprenticeships is a plus.
