CNC Lathe Machinist Pay : $25-30/hour (Coon Rapids, MN)
CNC Lathe Machinist Shift: 7am-3:30pm M-F (some flexibility here)
CNC Lathe Machinist Job Overview: The CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for machining products to specifications. You will set up, program and install tooling, fixtures and transfer programs.
CNC Lathe Machinist Key Requirements:
- 6 months minimum of CNC Lathe experience including setup and editing programs (Programing experience a plus)
- Comfortable doing multiple setup in a day, enjoy small company, job shop environment with most production runs less than 50 parts
- Strong math, blueprint reading and inspection skills
- Looking for long term employment at 1 company and 1st shift M-F
- Able to stand for most of your shift, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
CNC Lathe Machinist
CNC Lathe Machinist Key Responsibilities:
- Program, setup and operate CNC Lathe machines to produce complex parts and components
- Determine correct processes, machining sequences and tooling requirements. Work from blueprints, specification and/or instructions to rough and finish parts to close tolerances
- Verify speeds and feeds for tooling. Perform production operations, monitoring machine performance and quality continuously.
- Perform preventive maintenance of equipment
- Work in a job shop environment with most production runs less than 50 parts
