CNC Lathe Operator 1st Shift - Phillips Staffing

We are currently seeking an individual who is self-motivated, has the ability to work independently, and has experience operating CNC lathes, to join the team at a leading manufacturing facility in Walhalla, SC!

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC lathes
• Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, comparator.
• Review assignments to ensure programs, tooling, and materials are ready prior to machine set-up.
• Efficient operation of CNC equipment
• Reading and interpretation of Mechanical Engineering Drawings.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in machine operation is a plus
• Able to work in quick-paced machine shop environment
• Takes pride in their work and delivers high quality workmanship
• Able to hold and maintain tight tolerances when required
• Experience with machining plastics, aluminum, steel, and stainless steel is a plus

Shift Schedule: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $18-22/Hour Based on Experience
