CNC Lathe/Set-up at Manpower

Our client in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a CNC Lathe/Set-up/ to join their team. The ideal candidate will have reliability, excellent work ethic and teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Lathe/Set-up - 2nd shift

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

Pay Range: DOE

What’s the Job?
Must have experience with the following machines (Doosan Puma 2 axis slant bed CNC Lathe with Fanuc 18-T Control)
2 openings on 2nd shift for a CNC Lathe machinist with a minimum of 3 years of set up experience.
90% of what we are cutting is stainless steel ( 15-5, 17-4, 304 )
Some super alloys ( Inconel 718, 750 )
Some aluminum, nickel iron alloy and titanium as well.

What’s Needed?

• Have good oral and written communication skill
• Have skills to read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders
• Have skills to determine setup, production methods, and sequence of operations
• Have the ability and flexibility to work additional hours and/or days as require
• A high school degree or equivalent is required, plus the ability to work with other people in teams
