Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Mills and CNC Lathes to produce high-quality components.
- Perform machine setups for production runs, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Utilize calipers and micrometers to measure and verify part dimensions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage CNC tooling and maintain proper inventory levels.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and challenges.
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Assist in mechanical assembly and troubleshooting as needed.
- Perform shop math calculations to support machining processes.
- Meet physical requirements of the role, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC Mill and Lathe operations.
- Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine programming.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Understanding of GD&T and its application in machining.
- Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
