Role
As a Machinist (also known as a Machine Operator, Lathe Operator), you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, interpreting blueprints, sketches, and drawings to produce dimensions and tolerances of finished work-piece. You'll also be tasked with entering commands for CNC machines, monitoring machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusting machine controls as required. You'll ensure quality control by utilizing a variety of measurement tools and methods to evaluate finished parts against specifications.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3 to 5 years of machining experience at a minimum.
- Proficiency in GD&T, CNC Tooling, G-Code, Machine Setups for Production Runs, Manual Machining Skills, Blueprint Reading.
- Experience with various machines and technologies such as Turning Lathe, Manual Lathe, CNC Lathe (2-4 axis), CNC Swiss Lathe, CNC Lathe (5+ axis), Calipers and Micrometers, Vertical Lathe.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs alone or 70 lbs with assistance.
