CNC Machinist

$18.00 per hour PLUS shift differential!

Our climate-controlled, state-of-the-art machine shop provides opportunities to grow and develop your skills! We can train you to produce top-quality aerospace parts on our CNC machines and we provide growth opportunities to move up from Machinist I to Machinist V. Our current openings are on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Our machinists' starting pay ranges from $18- $27 per hour depending on experience plus night shift premiums from $1.87-$3.75 per hour depending upon Machinist Level.

Competencies:

• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprint requirements
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form
• Basic windows/internet browser experience
• Ability to mechanically inspect machined components
• Basic mechanical aptitude

Required Education and Experience:

• At least three months of experience as a fully qualified CNC Machinist I or equivalent

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Certification from vocational / trade school in CNC machining

Shift Times:

• 2nd Shift: 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM
