Responsibilities:
Develop machine tool centric manufacturing processes:- Select order of operations
- Cutting tool selection
- CNC programming
- Design and implement robust work-holding
- Collaborate on in-process quality controls
Operates CNC machine and other various equipment
Continuous improvement and 6S:- Diagnoses issues with the machine and parts program
- Measures parts to ensure finished product has correct specifications
- Identifies material defects in raw castings and finished parts
- Corrects inadequate measurements
- Daily clean-up
Mentors, trains, and develops apprentices
The expertise you’ll need to succeed:
- MasterCam software experience is preferred
- Experience with multi-axis machining
- Highly motivated
- Works efficiently in high pressure environments
- Accepts constructive criticism
- 5+ years industry experience preferred

Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: From $20/hour
Ability to commute/relocate: Franklin, IN 46131 – Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.
