Savard is hiring a CNC Router Table Operator for work in/near Geismar, LA for Job #20470.
Job Environment: This role will involve working in a machine shop environment, focusing on precision machining of materials including high-density polyethylene, PVC, ductile iron pipe, valves, and fittings.
Job Scope/Duties:
- Operate CNC router tables to cut, shape, and finish materials as specified.
- Load and secure materials onto the router table.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on CNC equipment and tools.
- Ensure finished products meet quality control standards and specifications.
Work History Experience:
Previous experience as a CNC router operator or in a CNC-related role preferred (training provided)
1 month of forklift experience.
Requirements:
Background screening and drug testing must be completed before starting.
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
Shifts/Hours:
Day shift 7: 30 AM - 4: 30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime as needed.
Max 50 hours
Up to $990/w
Pay Rate:
$16/h;$18 once trained (2 weeks of training)
