We are seeking a skilled Machinist with experience operating Okuma lathes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in setting up and programming CNC lathes using IGF (Interactive Graphics Function) programming. The position requires expertise in both horizontal and vertical lathe operations.Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Okuma CNC lathes (both horizontal and vertical).
• Perform IGF programming for efficient and accurate part production.
• Ensure the proper selection of tools, fixtures, and offsets for each job.
• Monitor machine operations to maintain high-quality output and adherence to tolerances.
• Perform regular quality checks and inspections during and after production.
• Troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments to programs and setups.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with expertise in Okuma lathes.
• Proficiency in IGF programming.
• Experience with both horizontal and vertical lathe operations.
• Strong understanding of tooling, machine setups, and offsets.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with close tolerances.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
