This position is paying between $22.00 and $29.00.00 an hour, depending on experience. The job description is listed below.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Follow standard work with attention to detail and quality
• Adhere to safe work practices
• Tackle every task with a continuous improvement mindset
• Perform necessary pre-operation duties to ensure proper equipment startup
• Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to mitigate unplanned stops and ensure quality throughput
• Ability to communicate with team to drive continuous production of the correct products with minimal wasted time and materials
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work station
Skills/Proficiencies:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• At least 5 years as a machine operator
• Attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of production procedures
• Abilities to read detailed part drawings
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with general G/M Code
• Knowledge of Okuma (OSP controls) and Hardinge (Fanuc Controls)
