CNC Machinist/Programmer – 1st Shift - Express Employment Professionals

Are you a skilled CNC Machinist with programming expertise and a focus on milling? We’re seeking a talented CNC Machinist/Programmer with strong MasterCAM skills to join our team and work on high-precision projects during 1st shift.

What You’ll Do:

• Program from CAD drawings/models and ensure production meets engineering specifications
• Set up and operate CNC machines using programmable controls and G/M code
• Work with various metals and develop production processes
• Set up fixtures and tooling to support CNC production
• Ensure parts meet tight tolerances using micrometers, height gages, bore gages, and more
• Perform routine machine maintenance and monitor tool wear
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality, efficiency, and delivery
• Crosstrain and develop new skills on multiple machines and equipment

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience in mechanical assembly and CNC machining
• Proficiency in MasterCAM software and G code programming
• Experience with MAZATROL SMOOTHX CONTROL is preferred
• Strong knowledge of tooling, fixtures, feeds, speeds, and materials
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain tight tolerances
