CNC Machinist - Spherion

Spherion Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a CNC Machinist. If you have experience operating a CNC mill, lathe, or cutoff saw, this is an excellent opportunity for you!

- Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift. Normal hours are Monday-Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm. Summer Hours are 6 am - 3:30 pm Monday-Thursday and 6 am - 10 am on Friday
- Located in Rockford, IL

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate CNC mills and lathes
- Machine and off-line programming
- Resolve and troubleshoot issues
- Use calipers and micrometers to accurately measure and record dimensions
- Read prints and job orders
- Comprehend tooling, gauging, and holding fixtures
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Clean-up/housekeeping duties

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- CNC Mill and Lathe operation experience
- CNC course completion
- Working knowledge of tooling and gauges
- Ability to handle physical workload
