Position Description

• Able to set up machines for each particular job
• Set off-sets as needed
• Select the proper tooling and inserts available for each job
• Operate overhead cranes and fork lifts
• Modify G-Code programs when necessary
• Able to read micrometers, calipers and other inspection instruments associated with the job
• Capable of reading customer drawings and holding tolerances to within .001” (and occasionally tighter)
• This is a job shop, processing orders of 1, 2, or maybe 4 piece typically
