Position Details:
Type: Full Time
Title: CNC Machinist
Compensation: $21.50 per hour
Benefits: Eligible for complete benefits package after 60 days
Schedule: Rotating 12-hr schedule (Only 14 Days per Month!)
For a limited time, we are offering a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!!
($250 after 1 month of employment, $250 after 3 months of employment, and $500 after 6 months of employment)
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Basic Function:
Produce quality product in a safe manner to meet the company and customer needs. Draws upon training and production experiences with the equipment and the process to make quality aerospace components. Applicant should possess training and experience in machining Bridgeport Mills/CNC Lathes or CNC Mills. At a minimum, gaging skills should include micrometers, depth micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators (optical comparator is a plus). Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Where manual material handling is performed, the contractor shall enforce a fifty-pound maximum manual lift limit. Safety shall be the first consideration when performing work at or on behalf of Client. All personnel entering the job site must attend a site safety orientation. The orientation is a summary of applicable OSHA requirements, site specific material and Client policy and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Includes the following & other duties as assigned. Assess the quality, robustness, and capability of the process and making decisions, with others, to halt or modify production as needed if the process does not meet quality and/or safety standard.

Works regularly with shift production employees as well as Leadership throughout the Client and Contractor Groups.

- Other machining processes
- Sump Sucker/Coolant Change
- Part Marking
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand (for extended periods of time), walk, and sit. In addition, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds/55 max.
Employee Education/Training:
Employees must attend all required classroom training classes and on-line learning thru the I Learn system. All training requires employees to take required tests and receive a passing score. Most training requires 8O % or better to maintain employment.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have a CNC Certification or 3 years’ experience operating a CNC Lathes/Mills. Must be able to read Blueprints and have experience with GD&T, (Geometric, Dimension and Tolerance. Shop math skills to the tenth, hundredth, and thousandth
