Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist (Weekend Shift)
$2,500 Hire Bonus – 50% paid after 30 days of employment, balance after 90 days.
Position Description: Join our team as a CNC Machinist specializing in CNC Milling and Turning on our Weekend Shift. You will play a crucial role in operating CNC machines to manufacture precision parts that meet exact mechanical specifications.
Schedule and Benefits:
Schedule: Enjoy a 3-day work week (Friday-Sunday) from 6:00am to 6:30pm.
Bonuses: Earn a 4-hour weekly bonus and a $1,000 hire bonus paid after 90 days.
Shift Differential: Receive a 10% shift differential for weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC Turning and Milling machines to produce high-quality components.
Utilize knowledge of machining processes, tool specifications, and material characteristics to ensure efficient operation.
Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments and adhere to quality control documentation.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain machine productivity.
Participate actively in 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Ability to interpret part drawings and work instructions.
Proficiency in CNC lathe operation (Miyano, Mori) and/or CNC milling (Makino, HAAS, Brother).
Strong mechanical aptitude with above-average manual dexterity.
Basic understanding of geometric and trigonometric formulas; intermediate math skills preferred.
Experience with visual inspection using microscopes for small parts.
Flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
