CNC MILL & LATHE OPERATOR - LaborMAX Staffing

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill & Lathe Operator with programming experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in editing programs, using FeatureCAM and SolidWorks, and be familiar with Haas Lathe Horizontal Bar Feeder, and various materials including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and nylon. Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components. Program, set up, and run CNC machines using FeatureCAM and SolidWorks. Edit CNC programs to optimize performance and ensure high-quality output. Load and set machines, ensuring correct alignment and positioning of tools and materials. Identify and select appropriate tooling for each job, maintaining tool inventory. Work with various materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and nylon. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines. Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining, manufacturing, or related field preferred. Proficiency in CNC programming and editing, with experience in FeatureCAM and SolidWorks. Familiarity with Haas lathes horizontal bar feeder. Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling selection. Experience working with various materials including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and nylon. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
