CNC Mill/Lathe programmer at Menches Tool and Die

Job Summary:

Menches Tool and Die Inc. seeks a detail-oriented and motivated CNC Mill/Lathe programmer to join our team in Hayward, CA. This position involves assisting in fabricating tools, dies, and other precision components used in the aerospace environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, and 3-5 years of experience with CNC mills, lathes, and other manual support equipment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

· Program and operate various CNC equipment such as CNC mills, lathes, etc. to machine or fabricate components for final assembly.

· Mount, align and secure work holding, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.

· Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications to produce and modify tooling components when required.

· Inspect first article tools to ensure they meet precise dimensional and quality requirements using precision measurement instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

· Work closely with the production teams to ensure tools are produced and meet production schedules and quality standards.

· Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Clean and maintain machinery according to department and company standards.
