About the Job
Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for CNC operator at a custom contract manufacturing company in New Milford CT. The operator will primarily tend CNC milling and turning centers. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $18-$22 an hour, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Tend to and run multiple CNC milling and turning centers, including loading and unloading material and parts
- Cut raw stock
- Deburr and hand finish parts
- Perform in process quality checks to ensure customer requirements are satisfied
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Communicate issues with parts, equipment and workmanship
- Log time against work orders and track quality issues
- Communicate with supervisors and management regarding work order status and potential issues
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- CNC machine operating experience
- Quality control experience, including using precision measuring tools
- Deburring experience
- Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting
- High school diploma or equivalent
