Title: CNC Operator/Setup

Location: Addison, IL

Shift: Multiple openings including both 1st and 3rd shift

Compensation: Compensation to be evaluated based on experience (Competitive)

Our Client:

Our client is a well established CNC machining facility with over 30 years of history.

About the Role:

The Machinist we are looking for will operate and maintain CNC Milling and Lathe equipment. This position must have the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and set up equipment.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications or relevant vocational training in CNC machining is preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC machinist, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in precision machining.
• Knowledge of G and M coding.
• Proficiency in machine setup, operation and troubleshooting
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment
• Understanding of cutting tools, inserts, and tool holders, as well as tool selection and maintenance.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work indenpently of repeat work.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
