CNC Programmer/Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

We have an immediate need for a CNC Milling Programmer Engineer in the Springfield, MA area. This is a full-time position.

Direct salary is estimated at 120-140K.

Job description:

• Programming Engineer creates computer numerically controlled or CNC programs to be used for automating machinists’ tools by using computer generated electronic data.
• Check completed programs using Vericut  software
• Create Tooling and Setup Sheets
• Review and Modify existing Programs/Processes and Setup times for Continuous Improvement

Required:

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Minimum 5 years with CNC Milling multi-axis programming experience.
• Ability interpreting blueprints and strong knowledge of GD&T.
• Strong knowledge in NX CAD/CAM
• Understanding of machining techniques, and materials.
• Ability to choose and/or design correct tooling, and apply speeds and feeds based on process and materials.
• Analyze and solve tool and program related issues on floor.
• Excellent communication skills interacting with operators and engineers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and  providing exemplary customer service.
