CNC Programmer/ Operator at Express Employment Professionals - West Chester

CNC Programmer/ Operator - $23.00 - $25.00/ hour (DOE)

Our client is is a global leader in innovative systems for stone, waterproofing, and masonry structures.  Since 1933, they have provided high-quality solutions for commercial, institutional, and residential markets, with a strong commitment to sustainability and environmentally-friendly products.  This position requires advanced set up and operation of various production machines as well as performing general maintenance to keep machines operational.

CNC Programmer/ Operator Functions: 

• Custom fabricates components using CNC machining, cutting, and other metal working equipment to complete assigned work orders.
• Keep machines operational by performing general maintenance and electrical troubleshooting, addressing any failures or malfunctions with corrective actions
• Prepare raw materials for processing when necessary.
• Examine finished products and verify conformance to quality standards and trouble shoot if necessary.
• Verify counts on finished products to determine if product orders are complete; mark or tag identification on parts; load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances (forklifts).
• Remove products, machine attachments, and waste material from machines as needed.
• Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas of plants and warehouses, by hand or using hand trucks or powered lift trucks.
• Clean and maintain work areas, machines, equipment, vehicles, and products using 5s principles.
• Assist others as needed to process orders.
• Participates in process improvement projects when assigned.

•      What we look for in CNC Programmer/ Operator:

• High School diploma or GED
• Metal working machine set-up and operation, welding, and maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience with automated equipment; must have mechanical aptitude.
• Familiar with SolidWorks (or equivalent), SolidWorks CAM, SolidCAM Plugin, AUTOCAD (or equivalent), CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, laser cutting, waterjet cutting
• Ability to understand and interpret product drawings, the ability to read, write and communicate in English.
