CNC PROGRAMMER - Spherion

4/10 Work schedule M-Thurs.

We are looking for an experienced CNC programmer/ machinist for both mill and lathe machines. Will be responsible for programming and operating various CNC machines that cut raw materials like plastic and metal into useful tools and parts.

Responsibilities:
Read blueprints and technical drawings to set up machines based on specification
Comprehend product design into computer modelling software
Use computer software to create the design of parts and tools
Implement routine machine maintenance
Write formulas to program lathe and mills using different computer software
Complete quality control during the machine's manufacturing stage and on the final product
Adjust and verify machine settings to desired product specification
Troubleshoot issues with the machine during the instructional design process
Train new staff members on machine operation procedures

Working hours: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:
10+ years

Qualifications:
G-code programming
Must have working knowledge of Mastercam .
They need an understanding of the methodology used for part mounting.
Knowledge of plastic injection mold making, high speed machining, electrode, fixture, and jig design/manufacturing, mold-frame manufacturing is important.
Key skills include teamwork, communication, organization, creativity, accuracy, logic, mathematics, spatial relations, manufacturing strategies, machinability data, and tooling selection.
Must have good problem solving skills and detailed oriented

MUST have 7+ years of CNC programmer and machining experience
