We are a leading force in the manufacturing industry, seeking a seasoned CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and improving our manufacturing processes to boost productivity, reduce cost, and enhance product quality. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar field, with a strong background in machine maintenance and blueprint reading. Responsibilities
- Create and revise CNC programs for manufacturing processes using the latest software
- Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, and other data to calculate dimensions and tool selection
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and improve manufacturing processes
- Monitor the CNC machines on the production floor to ensure optimal output
- Perform regular machine maintenance to ensure efficiency and longevity
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the CNC programming
- Document and maintain records of the CNC programs for future reference
- Train and guide junior staff members on CNC programming and machine operation
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in all operations
- Continuously research and implement new and efficient manufacturing techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Programmer in the manufacturing industry
- Proficient in machine maintenance and blueprint reading
- Advanced knowledge of CNC programming software
- Strong understanding of machining operations and tooling concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Proven record of improving manufacturing processes and efficiency
- Certification in CNC Programming or related field is a plus
