CNC Programmer/Set Up/Operator - Inova Staffing

Inova Staffing is looking to hire a CNC Programmer Set Up/Operator for one of our clients in Painesville.

This is a direct hire position. 1st and 2nd shift available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret technical drawings and set up machines according to blueprint specifications.
• Utilize computer software to model cutting paths and program machines using methods such as G&M Codes, FANUC, and MAZATROL.
• Conduct quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design standards.
• Adjust machine settings and cutting paths to optimize production efficiency while maintaining product quality.
• Select appropriate tools for cutting materials and program machines accordingly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues as they occur.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and sharpening tools.
• Train new employees on proper operation of CNC machines and programming techniques.
• Operate and set up CNC Lathes and/or Mills when programming is not required.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical issues.
• Ability to work independently while following instructions closely.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds for short periods.
• Strict adherence to safety regulations is mandatory.
• High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of experience. Technical machining certification or training is preferred but not required.
