About the Job
- Must be able to program, set-up, ruan and edit CNC Lathers & Milles, Drill Presses, Milling machines, etc.
- Must have Machine Shop experience with custom jobs
- Read Blueprints and Drawings to prove our parts from beginning independently
- Program, set-up, run and edit CNC Lathes & Mills, milling machines and drill presses, along with a variety of other machines
- Able to produce results in a job shop setting
- Check parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, go/no-go gauges to hold tolerances according to blueprints.
- Problem solving skills & the ability to work independently is essential to our work environment is a must.
- Setting up and operating machines: Loading raw materials, installing cutting tools, and programming the machine
- Monitoring machines: Ensuring the machine is operating correctly, and monitoring factors like cutting speed and tool alignment
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing issues like tool wear, material inconsistencies, or programming errors
- Performing maintenance: Cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating the machine to keep it efficient and in good condition
- Quality control: Analyzing the finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Reading blueprints: Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to understand the design specifications for the part
- Creating work procedures: Developing procedures for the machining process
Candidates must be able to handle responsibilities independently, job schedule, and interact with customers. Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software a strong plus.

Grinding: 3 year (Preferred)
CNC Lathe: 3 years (Required)
