CNC Section Leader - Waters Corporation

Overview

Section Lead of Department

Individual will perform basic set-up steps and operate a variety of machines in the Global Machining Center of Excellence. CNC Lathe, Mill and EDM machining for the Valve Cell department.

Responsibilities

• Performing all basic set-ups and all machining functions associated with the machinery in the Valve Cell Department
• Performing bench type operations which include polishing, and other operations of the more complicated nature.
• Operator will be responsible for reading blueprints and verifying with measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, etc.) the dimensions of the produced part to the blueprint

Qualifications

• Graduate of a vocational school in machining or equivalent preferred. 
• Manual or CNC machining experience preferred.
• Familiar with blueprints, measuring instruments and have a working knowledge of decimals preferred.
