CNC Swiss Programmer - Bracalente Manufacturing Group

Bracalente Manufacturing Group (BMG), an innovative leader in the production of precision machined parts and assemblies, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Swiss programmer to join our expanding engineering team.  Located in the greater Quakertown, PA area, BMG is a family owned and operated contract manufacturing solutions provider with a global footprint. BMG is looking for talented, highly motivated people who love a challenge and have the desire to improve.

$2,500 Hire Bonus – 50% paid after 30 days of employment, balance after 90 days.

Position Responsibilities:

·        Develop and maintain NC programs using Partmaker software to facilitate continuous production of machined parts

·        Utilize knowledge of available CNC Swiss equipment and tooling to create the most efficient production process possible

·        Create and control technical information: Setup Sheets, Process plans, and Work instructions required to produce parts to exacting standards in a timely manner

·        Identify and troubleshoot process problems to keep production flowing

·        Collaborate with sales team to perform time studies to generate accurate cost estimates within part specifications

·        Setup and perform first part run offs and coordinate with operators to understand machining operation and documents

·        Contribute to the training of company employees to improve skill level of machine operators

·        Perform pre-production engineering reviews and risk assessments to ensure project success

·        Provide input to improve productivity and quality to reduce costs and achieve company goals

·        Optimize and secure programs to prevent process alteration

Qualifications:

·        Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR.

·        CNC Swiss turning experience required. Star SR / SB and Miyano experience preferred.

·        Ability to program using CAM software from blueprints and solid models. Partmaker or Mastercam experience preferred.

·        Expert CNC trouble shooting skills

·        Experience cutting a wide variety of standard and exotic materials

·        Proficiency with Fanuc controls

·        Software Knowledge required:

·        CAM Software

·        Microsoft Office

·        Software Knowledge preferred:

·        Solidworks

·        Epicor (or equivalent ERP experience)

· Minimum 2 years programming CNC Swiss machines

·        5 – 10 years in a machine shop environment

·        Strong communication and organization skills

·        Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

·        Partial to working in a team environment

Education:

·        High School or equivalent required

·        College or trade school preferred
