Aspire Talent Solutions is partnered with a phenomenal CNC Machine Tool Distributor in their search for a CNC Tooling Sales Engineer responsible for the Rochester, NY region. This position supports the CNC Capital Equipment sales process by providing technical information required to improve machine tool productivity including tooling, workholding, and other machine accessory projects.
Responsibilities:
·Develop strong customer relationships across multiple departments and levels within manufacturing organizations including CNC programming, engineering, purchasing, and senior management
·Act as a central knowledge base for machine tool accessories, work holding, and tooling products to recommend solutions for customers and machine sales planning
·Analyze customer equipment and processes to recommend solutions to improve the customer’s return on their capital investment, while growing efficiency and profitability
·Partner with capital equipment sales in assigned territory to ensure all customer needs are met from pre-sales to project completion
·Develop and deliver outstanding customer product demonstrations
·Lead projects by collaborating with internal engineering, capital equipment sales, contracts, service, and management teams
·Update and maintain sales activities within CRM (Salesforce); provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to leadership as needed
·Participate in regional industry associations and become actively involved to attract new opportunities
·Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry, product lines, and competitors
·Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements:
·Previous experience within Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Sales a plus
·3+ years of experience working with CNC machine tools; preference for candidates with experience reviewing and processing part prints, fixturing strategies, and tooling selection
·CNC Programming/Machinist background highly beneficial
·High level of technical skills required, including ability to read/interpret blueprints and other engineering documents
·Proficient with computer systems and CRMs, including Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (or comparable) required
·Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory, in addition to headquarters and other partner events
·Must maintain valid driver’s license and insurance
