CNC Tube Setup Technician - Davis Aircraft

The CNC Tube Setup Technician is responsible for supplying the bending team with the proper materials used for bending to a specified angle or contour. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Cutting, assembly of tubing bill of materials in accordance with print requirements and specifications.

• Examine completed work pieces for defects, such as chipped edges or marredsurfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.

• Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers.

- Swaging, pressure test and clean/wipe tubing

- Assist/conduct inspection of finished tubes.

- Labeling and packaging of tubes.

- Accomplish responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner.

- Mechanical, computer and math aptitude a plus

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [green card holder], or have refugee or asylee status.
