Our programs provide a complement of services for most ages and needs. This continuum is designed to meet the complex needs of each individual and creates a continuum of services that are able to meet the needs of children, adults, and families through a continuum of services utilizing an integrated care model. Title: Co-Occurring Therapist
Salary: $55000 to $65000 / annually depending upon education, experience, and licensure.
This is a 40-hour full-time benefitted position which includes some evenings required:
- Free Supervision provided towards licensure

- Plans, organizes, and implements clinical social work/ counseling services to consumers and families under the clinical supervision of a qualified supervisor.
- Plans for discharge and aftercare.
- Maintains contact with referring agencies and related people, and with community resources used for referral.
- Maintains treatment records.
- The individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served.
- Must be able to assess and interpret data about the consumer’s status to identify each consumer’s needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the consumer group.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the stages of change, a wellness and recovery model, and placement criteria as outlined in the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) patient placement guide.
- MSW from an accredited school of social work or Master's Degree or doctorate in counseling with at least one year of experience required and actively working towards certification as a CADC or licensure as a LCADC based on requirements set forth by governing authority or, actively working towards another health professional license that includes work of an alcohol and drug counseling nature within its scope of practice. License required, if applicable.
- Needs to be computer literate and proficient in using the agency's Electronic Medical Records, NJSAMS, and applicable software required for the job, including but not limited to email and the internet.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
