BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. Salary range for this position is $24.00/Hour This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Owning the scaffold build process for all crews.
1. Understand scaffold complexities and weekly workloads.
2. Plan (and assign) proper crew mix and loading
3. Plan equipment needs for each scaffold build.
4. Understand how to read engineered and rudimentary scaffold prints and descriptions.
5. Design scaffolds based on poor descriptions and no prints.
6. Complete understanding of complicated scaffolds, lead crew or many crews thru the build and disassembly of complicated scaffolds.
7. Keep a daily logbook, documenting all issues, scaffold erections/dismantles, and personnel or customer discrepancies.
8. Accurately fill out safety tags for scaffolds.
9. Willing to work side by side with crews ensuring compliance to all procedures and policies while building efficient safe scaffolds.
10. Responsible for all equipment including correct inventory and management of equipment loss.
11. Utilize Change Order approval sheet, obtain proper customer approvals prior to starting work.
2. Making sure respirators are stored properly and are cleaned as required.
3. Coming to work clean-shaven, as I set the example for others.
4. Monitoring employees each day while performing work, attending safety meetings and during lunch.

2. Making sure my truck and company vehicles are kept clean and are maintained as per manufacture and company specifications.
3. ForALLcompany assets.
4. Managing team members under my direction; and will ensure they stay in the plant during working hours.
5. As a supervisor I am responsible forALLemployees during working hours.
6. Ensuring team members wear the required PPE and have a Brand sticker and employee name on hardhat.
7. Managing PPE, consumables and crew mix.
8. Collecting fall protection equipment and other company issued equipment upon transferring or terminating employees.
9. Collecting data from all sources including the customer. Analyzing and processing data to make logic-based decisions. Ensure Brand and customer policies and procedures are adhered to during decision-making process.
10. Effectively leading a team or several teams of scaffold builders, insulators, fireproofing, and painters.
11. Effectively communicating with General Foreman, Job Superintendent, Project Manager, and Brand Management.
12. Understand Brand’s safety documentation requirements including accident investigation.
13. Understand all personnel policies and job descriptions; utilize proper promotion, demotion, and termination policies.
14. Train, develop, and mentor all team members.
15. Understanding basic leadership qualities and how to recognize those qualities in individuals.
16. Providing written recommendations and evaluations of team members.
17. Understanding payroll policies and fill out weekly payroll sheets.
18. Understanding productivity targets; drive crew and material usage to meet targets without impacting safety.
19. Must be able to identify all Brand material.
20. Must take ownership of project responsibilities.
21. Plan work for employees to stay on task by using Planning Form.
22. Set goals for crews and measure progress.
23. Make sure there is plenty of material, in good condition, so that crews do not run out.
24. Maintain the quality of company equipment.
25. Requesting drawings from the engineering departments when needed (especially scaffold over 125ft tall).
26. Maintaining the working quality of painting equipment and maintain it in good working order.
27. Track daily job progress and report progress to Project Controls.
28. Verify work permit for job is correct and each employee reads it before commencing work.
29. Make sure equipment sheets for painting material, equipment, and/or trucks are filled out and submitted to the billing department.
30. Verifying crews have a suitable anchor point to tie off and enforcing the 100% tie off rule.
31. Enforcing the use of 2-board policy while erecting and dismantling of scaffold.
